Wanted: Your Clippings!

The Gulf oil spill disaster continues to grow, and Professional Cosmetology Education Center will help make a difference in confronting this environmental disaster.  

We have joined Matter of Trust, a nonprofit organization.  Matter of Trust has discovered an amazing use for human hair: it is one of the most effective ways of cleaning up and containing oil spills.  Hair is very efficient at collecting oil - which is why we shampoo.  Matter of Trust is coordinating a nationwide effort to create Hair Mats for soaking up oil, and Hair Booms for containing oil!  Check out this story:
